It's what's for dinner!

As I'm laying in my bed this morning, the first morning of a three day weekend, Olee and Shae come piling into my bed with me. They're being silly as usual and it's first thing in the morning so they're in great moods. Lucky me! I'm not quite awake yet, but I'm getting there and they want to discuss dinner tonight.

Olee asks, "Mom, what are we having for dinner tonight?" I'm not really prepared with an answer so I'm thinking when Shae decides to answer for me. Matter-of-factly she states, "Groundhog, probably." I'm wondering where this came from when she starts listing off the sides for the groundhog. "Fans, lightbulbs, lamps with lights all tossed in a salad." Of course, Olee starts giggling like crazy and they both go nuts about other things they would be having for dinner tonight. Bears' feet, bears' legs and a whole bunch of other nutty things. Silliness reigns supreme!

All I really have to say is: All you groundhogs out there better watch out. You're what's for dinner. Forget beef! And if it means you don't see your shadow on February 2nd then I'm all for it. Who needs six more weeks of winter anyway?
